The China Association for Science and Technology is soliciting major frontier scientific problems and engineering technical problems among scientific and technological workers and welcomes all members to apply.

Fields

In principle, the collection covers all fields of natural sciences and engineering technology. The focus is on collection in 12 fields -- basic physical and chemical sciences, life sciences, earth sciences, the ecological environment, manufacturing technology, information technology, advanced materials, resources and energy, agricultural science and technology, transportation, air, space and ocean and medical health.

Content

Cutting-edge scientific problems and engineering technical problems that have a leading role in the future development of science and technology are being solicited. The following information should be described: title, subject, key words, problem description (including problem background, latest progress and significance). The length of the text is about 2,000 Chinese characters. Except for the title and keywords written in Chinese and English, the text will be written in Chinese.

The Biophysical Society of China will organize an expert recommendation committee for selection and recommend five major frontier scientific problems and five engineering technical problems with authoritativeness to the China Association for Science and Technology. It will then select 10 scientific problems and 10 engineering technical problems that have a guiding role in scientific development and industrial innovation to play in society.
