Zong Weijian, a doctor at the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, is one of the winners of the Shizhang Bei Award for Young Biophysicists 2017.

Zong earned a bachelor's degree at Peking University in 2012, and a doctorate from the Academy of Military Medical Sciences in 2017.
