BSC provides high-level intellectual support to the western part of China to promote its exchanges and cooperation in technology with other regions as well as help the universities and research institutes in the western region to recruit high-quality and urgently required biomedicine talents.

Based on China’s Belt and Road Initiative, BSC helped the participating experts gain deeper understanding of the development situation in western China thanks to the 11th Calcium Signal and Cell Function Seminar, which was held in July, 2016.

Moreover, BSC cooperates with Zunyi Medical University as well as the research institutes and hospitals in Zunyi, a city in southwest China’s Guizhou province. The moves of bringing in foreign mode of intellect and inviting five special-term professors to Zunyi Medical University will assure the western region of international support in scientific research and education. It also laid a solid foundation for the region to introduce international professionals and educate globally competitive talents.
