Primarius Technologies wins global semiconductor award

Updated: 2024-11-11

Beijing-based Primarius Technologies was among the winners at the 2024 World Electronics Achievement Awards, hosted by the AspenCore media group.

Primarius, which is located in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) won the "Annual EDA Product Award" for its outstanding performance in the Target-Driven Model Extraction Automation Platform SDEP™ product.

As an innovative semiconductor device model automation extraction platform, SDEP™ aims to address the advanced SPICE modeling challenges faced by the industry. It provides users with a system to preserve and receive new device modeling expertise and uses target-oriented algorithms to build automated processes for different process platforms and applications.

With a built-in parallel SPICE as the core simulation engine, it enables data analysis and verification, automatic extraction and optimization of model parameters, and supports various complex advanced optimization algorithms, parameter filtering, model validation and convergence control capabilities. On the SDEP™ platform, model experts can utilize powerful and flexible functional modules to gradually customize the model parameter extraction process based on modeling experience and establish a complete set of fully automated modeling process solutions.

"Primarius Technologies has won this honor for the third consecutive year, which not only recognizes the innovation and R&D strength of Primarius Technologies products, but also highly praises the contributions that Primarius Technologies has made to driving innovation and development in the semiconductor industry," said a spokesperson for Primarius Technologies.

Primarius Technologies is the first domestic EDA listed company. At the recent 2024 "China Chip" first EDA special award ceremony, Primarius' "High-precision, Large-capacity Full-chip Transistor-level Circuit Fast Simulation Technology" NanoSpice Pro X™ won the "EDA Technical Innovation Award", while the company's standard cell library characterization solution NanoCell™ was nominated for the "EDA Product Innovation Award".

This fully showcases the company's outstanding technological innovation capabilities and industry influence, the spokesperson added.
