Toyota fuel cell project commences production in Beijing E-Town
Toyota Fuel Cell Research and Production Project Phase I recently commenced production in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town).
As one of the largest foreign investment projects introduced in the field of hydrogen energy in Beijing, this project will accelerate the resolution of challenges in hydrogen fuel cells for vehicles and further promote the development of the hydrogen energy industry.
Covering 113,000 square meters, this project primarily supports the research and production functions of hydrogen fuel cell systems and stacks based on Toyota technology.
Hydrogen Fuel Cell System TL Power 150
Hydrogen Fuel Cell System TL Power 150, the first product of the project, has a rated power of 150 kW, enabling heavy-duty commercial vehicles to operate on the road using hydrogen energy. It features a high degree of system integration, further achieving localization of key components. The lifespan of the system can reach up to 30,000 hours.
