The ultra HD camera developed by UDCAM Technology Co., Ltd.

During the Paris Olympics, the UHDCAM-9000 8K ultra HD camera system, developed independently by UDCAM Technology Co., Ltd., a company in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (Beijng E-Town), is used in Paris, France to provide international coverage of the Olympic Games and its closing ceremony to global audiences.

As a domestic enterprise with independent intellectual property rights in the development and manufacturing of broadcast-grade ultra HD cameras, UDCAM Technology has always been committed to enhancing product localization and creating a "Chinese eye".

The UHDCAM-9000 domestic 8K EFP ultra HD camera system is the first camera front-end shooting system in China with independent intellectual property rights, filling a gap in this field domestically.

The technical specifications of this system fully comply with the international and domestic requirements for broadcast-grade 8K ultra HD systems, breaking the passive situation where China has long relied on imported front-end equipment in the high-end production of broadcast-grade film and television, and addressing the bottleneck issues in the Chinese broadcasting and television industry.

Currently, more than 90 percent of the UHDCAM-9000 8K EFP Ultra HD camera system are locally manufactured. The camera can be widely used in professional media production scenes for broadcast television, various high-quality live event productions, and live or broadcast scenes for outside broadcasting vans. It was used in broadcasting the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, the 2023 CCTV Spring Festival Gala and the 31st Summer Universiade in Chengdu.
