The E-Town hall serves as an important platform for showcasing, promoting and introducing Beijing, attracting biomedical companies and investors from around the world for discussions and exchanges.
To better facilitate investment promotion services during the forum, the reception hall became a "base" for in-depth connections and negotiations.
Beijing E-Town formed a task force of over 50 members on July 3, which included specialists in biotechnology and the health industry as well as biomedical platform companies, to guide companies and participants in understanding the Chinese capital and in interpreting industrial planning policies and development opportunities.
More than 120 companies were represented at the Boao Forum, with projects negotiated amounting to nearly 18 billion yuan ($2.47 billion), and 36 construction projects planned for the next two years.
