The 7th "Entrepreneurship Beijing" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition's Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area selection round was held in Beijing E-Town from June 26 to 27.

The selection round was divided into two main categories, Advanced Manufacturing and Modern Services, with 29 entrepreneurial projects competing simultaneously through competitions and online live streaming.

The first team to compete was Truth Instruments Co, Ltd. Their presentation project, "Development and Industrialization of High-end Integrated Circuit Testing Equipment," focuses on technological innovation, development and industrialization of high-end integrated circuit testing equipment. 

It aims to achieve breakthroughs in core technologies in the relevant fields, addressing the issue of dependency on foreign testing equipment in China's chip manufacturing process.

As a veteran of the innovation and entrepreneurship competition, Beijing Bestopcell Medical Technology Co participated this time with the "Single-cell Transcriptome Sequencing System Based on High-throughput Sequencing" project.

Other projects presented on the first day included a new generation of implantable left ventricular assist systems, high-end equipment for construction of 3D printing robots, and a research and development base for semiconductor RF power supplies and matching units. A total of 17 projects from the advanced manufacturing category were presented. 

The judges asked questions about the companies' research teams, organizational structures, and industrialization advantages, and they scored each project.

Ultimately, six projects were selected to represent Beijing E-Town in the municipal and national competitions. 

The winners of the selection round will subsequently receive professional, meticulous and comprehensive "one-stop" entrepreneurship services in areas such as funding, policies and entrepreneurial guidance.

In the past three years, 11 projects from the Beijing E-Town have won awards in the municipal finals, and two projects have received national honors.
