These measures proposed 32 initiatives across eight aspects, including innovative medicines and devices, clinical trials, evaluation and approval, distribution and trade, and clinical applications. These measures aim to effectively promote the deep integration of the innovation, industrial, and policy chains.
The conference also summarized nearly 20 common challenges and pain points that enterprises face, inviting relevant Beijing departments to conduct roundtable discussions focusing on two major themes: how to accelerate the development of domestic innovative medicines and devices and how to reform the medical care, medical insurance and pharmaceutical industries.
The event invited nearly 30 biopharmaceutical companies and more than 30 investment and financing institutions for project presentations, with dozens of innovative projects showcased at the conference.
It also facilitated resource matching and capital connection for enterprises.
Currently, Beijing E-Town has over 4,200 biopharmaceutical companies, including over 100 high-tech and specialized, innovative enterprises.
Nearly 100 innovative medicines and medical devices are at various stages of clinical trials and approval for market entry, marking a strong beginning for the goal of creating a hub for "Innovative Medicine by Intelligent Manufacturing"
The conference was hosted by the Beijing E-Town Administrative Committee and organized by Beijing Yizhuang International Biomedical Investment Management Co.
