Third Global Health Forum to be held July 16 in Beijing

The third Global Health Forum (GHF) will be held from July 16 to 18, 2024, at the Beijing National Convention Center.

The third GHF is jointly hosted by the Boao Forum for Asia and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, with the cooperation of the Global Health Forum Organizing Committee and the Administrative Committee of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area.

The conference will be themed "Health Everywhere - The Sustainable Development Era of 2030", featuring an opening ceremony, over 20 sub-forums, ministerial and corporate dialogues, a roundtable meeting of multinational CEOs, closed-door dialogues for entrepreneurs, the release of professional reports and white papers, investment promotion conferences, and project signing ceremonies among other important activities.

Li Baodong, secretary-general of the Boao Forum for Asia, stated that the Global Health Forum is a comprehensive international exchange platform in the field of health. 

The third session will continue to take practical actions, fulfill global commitments, effectively gather consensus from all parties, vigorously promote international cooperation in the field of health, and make beneficial contributions to the health and well-being of people around the world.

Yu Yingjie, member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, stated that Beijing will co-host the third session of the Global Health Forum with the Boao Forum for Asia, showcasing Beijing's services, deepening cooperation and exchanges, injecting new impetus into Beijing's efforts to become an international exchange center, and laying a new foundation for achieving high-quality health development.

Kong Lei, director of the Administrative Committee of Beijing E-Town, stated that Beijing E-Town will take the opportunity of hosting the conference to continuously promote high-level reform and opening up, efficient factor allocation, better nurture new productive forces, optimize industrial structure, and enhance urban development levels.
