The 2024 investment promotion conference of E-Town held
The 2024 Investment Promotion Conference on High-Quality Development in Beijing E-Town and the Signing Ceremony of Cooperation between Beijing E-Town and Hong Kong Global Partners was recently held in Hong Kong.
The promotion conference was jointly organized by Beijing E-Town, the Hong Kong Investment Promotion Agency, the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute, and the Hong Kong Beijing University Alumni Association.
Yu Miao, deputy secretary of the Working Committee of Beijing E-Town; Jiang Xueli, assistant director of the Hong Kong Investment Promotion Agency; and Li Ran, president of the Hong Kong Alumni Association of Beijing Universities, delivered speeches.
In his welcome speech, Yu Miao gave a good vision of cooperation with Hong Kong companies and talents to create the future.
The visiting delegation from Beijing E-Town comprehensively introduced the high-tech industry ecology, high-quality development trends, and the business environment characterized by internationalization, marketization, and legalization in the area.
They promoted the Ten Talent Policy 2.0 and industrial technology promotion policies, demonstrating the eco-friendly and livable environment of Beijing E-Town.
Jiang Xueli said in his speech, "The development of Beijing E-Town and Hong Kong reflects the same fighting spirit of the two cities. The development of the leading industries in Beijing E-Town coincides with cooperation with Hong Kong."
"We look forward to deepening cooperation, seeking common development, and achieving win-win results between Beijing E-Town and Hong Kong, contributing to the development of the country, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area through cooperation." Li Ran stated in her speech, "The Hong Kong Alumni Association of Beijing Universities will cooperate with Beijing E-Town in the future, leveraging the advantages of resources in both places, inviting more Hong Kong alumni entrepreneurs and young talents to invest and settle in Beijing E-Town, finding the suitable soil for their own development and achieving great enterprises."
The promotion activity attracted over 50 representatives from institutions such as the Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group, representatives from universities including the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, representatives from the Hong Kong Beijing Community Association, as well as representatives from Hong Kong companies.
