"To ensure the smooth resumption of production, our production personnel started early to debug equipment on the seventh day of the Lunar New Year, ensuring efficient operation of the production line. By the eighth day of the Lunar New Year, we had already started working comprehensively according to customer orders, ensuring high-quality delivery," said Ren Wei, executive vice president of the Beijing Branch of Beijing Hainachuan Automotive Parts Co (BHAP).

As a component enterprise providing automotive wheel assembly, steering columns, and other supporting services for whole vehicle brand customers, BHAP’s Beijing Branch currently has full orders and is fighting to achieve a "good start" in the first quarter.

"Since establishing our factory in Beijing E-Town in 2014, we have continuously carried out digitization and automation upgrades and renovations on our production lines. Now, the automation level of our production line ranks among the best in the wheel assembly industry both domestically and internationally," Ren added. 

The automation transformation of the production line not only brings about improved production efficiency but also optimizes quality control. For instance, each wheel is equipped with a unique barcode from the beginning of assembly, facilitating full-process production traceability.

To further solidify its intelligent manufacturing capabilities, BHAP plans to upgrade its AGV carts (automatic guided vehicles) and fully automatic assembly line robots to improve loading efficiency.

It is worth mentioning that this year, BHAP's Beijing Branch will also relocate its chassis business (brake pedals, steering columns), which has the most core competitive advantages, to Beijing E-Town to promote the formation of industrial integration advantages and further improve operational and customer response efficiency.

BHAP couldn't achieve such results without the high-quality business environment and industrial policy support of Beijing E-Town.

Ren mentioned.

With the introduction of new projects in the future, BHAP's Beijing Branch will usher in an increase in output value in 2024 and will focus on building a fully automated production assembly "lights-out factory" to set a benchmark for "E-Town Intelligent Manufacturing".
