A delegation of domestic and foreign media, including Xinhua News Agency, China Central Television, Radio France Internationale, the European News Photo Agency, Portuguese News Agency, Swiss Italian-language TV, Austria's "News" and other media, as well as representatives of French youth, like David Ming, Marie Derien,and Herehau visited Beijing E-Town.

They experienced efficient government services, tried out autonomous driving, and felt the high-quality, warm, and innovative vitality of Beijing E-Town.

The delegation first visited the Government Service Center, which integrates such functions as "government service office, enterprise development station, government-citizen interaction lounge, and science and technology innovation exhibition hall."

With the goal of "minimal approval, optimal service," a "one-stop window" has been established, allowing companies to submit applications together for more convenient processing of relevant procedures.

This is also the first service hall in Beijing to achieve "one-window acceptance and simultaneous certification" for foreigners' work and residence permits, providing multilingual services in English, German, Russian, and Korean. Foreigners can obtain the two certificates within 5 working days.

At Baidu Apollo Technology Park, several domestic and foreign media journalists took a test ride in Baidu Apollo's intelligent unmanned vehicle, experiencing first-hand the wonder of autonomous driving cars.

Baidu Apollo Technology Park (ApolloPark) is Baidu's largest global autonomous driving and vehicle-road cooperative application testing base. It was completed in May 2020 and spans an area of 17,000 square meters. The area is equipped with over 300 autonomous driving test vehicles, covering the entire process from research and development to testing.

Upon entering JD.com's exhibition hall, Stephane, a journalist from Radio France Internationale, immediately noticed the familiar JD.com mascot, Joy the small dog.

He said, "My wife is a loyal fan of JD.com; she only shops on this platform. I came here today with a mission, and when I go back, I'll tell her that behind the JD.com app she sees, there's a very intelligent supply chain network, including globally distributed logistics and warehousing facilities, and robots that automatically sort goods. These retail technologies are magical."

During a visit to Sanofi's Beijing production base, the media delegation learned that Sanofi has laid out the world's first advanced sterile filling line for insulin injection at this facility.

It has become Sanofi's largest insulin injection production base in the Asia-Pacific region. The biotechnology and the big health industry is one of the four leading industries in Beijing E-Town.
