The 2023 World VR Industry Conference was held in Nanchang from Oct 19 to 20. 

Leveraging the platform of the World VR Industry Conference, the Regional Collaborative Industry Development Seminar, organized by the Publicity and Culture Department of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area Working Committee and hosted by Shang E-Town (Beijing) Science and Culture Group Co, also took place in Nanchang on Oct 20.

Representatives from participating companies at the World VR Conference, including Tellhow Creative Technology Group, ChiMETA digital technology and Shenzhen Chuangxiang Shuwei, attended the conference. 

They provided insight and suggestions on the technical development and industrial transformation of the audio-visual industry and gained an in-depth understanding of the rapid development of the audio-visual industry in Beijing E-Town and its comprehensive industry support policies.

The meeting was chaired by the head of the Publicity and Culture Department of the BDA Working Committee. 

It was introduced that Beijing E-Town has formulated a series of policies to support industrial development in the field of technological and cultural integration, including VR. 

During the "14th Five-Year Plan" (2021-25) period, Beijing E-Town will lead the implementation of the digitalization strategy, building a hundred-billion-level digital science and culture integration industry cluster with high-tech audio-visual and gaming esports industries as the main driver, and various industries such as digital creativity and cultural equipment production progressing side by side.

The head of Shang E-Town (Beijing) Science and Culture Group Co shared their practices and exploration of regional industrial layouts of state-owned enterprises in Beijing E-Town, focusing on three emerging tracks: ultra-high definition, the metaverse, and digital asset circulation platforms, to support the integration of technology and culture.

During the meeting, after learning about the development of the audio-visual industry in Beijing E-Town, participants inquired about the relevant policies for entry into the area and discussed their own enterprise's development strategies and achievements.
