"It was fascinating!" "Very impressive!" "Many of us saw things for the first time..."

A group of foreign students in Beijing recently visited Beijing E-Town. They explored the Beijing E-Town Impressions Exhibition Hall at Boda Building and the "Unmanned Delivery Ecological Space" exhibition hall of Neolix, as well. They experienced a ride in a Robotaxi and an intelligent connected bus at the Beijing High-Level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Area Innovation Display Center.

In the Beijing E-Town Impressions Exhibition Hall hall, built using 5G+8K technology, they learned about Beijing E-Town's construction story, development process, and future plans through videos. As the main platform for the construction of Beijing's International Science and Technology Innovation Center, the area is constructing a "4+2+1" industrial system, aiming to create a globally influential innovative industry cluster.

Meanwhile, this place has implemented measures such as "single-window acceptance and simultaneous certification" for the approval of work and residence permits for foreign talents, providing convenient services for the work and life of international talents.

Accompanied by the sound of "Please open the door with the lit indicator to take your goods," the tour members gathered around an ice cream unmanned retail vehicle, amazed that autonomous driving, an international cutting-edge technology, has become a part of life in Beijing E-Town.

In the Neolix "Unmanned Delivery Ecological Space" exhibition hall, they gained a close understanding of the company's technological innovation and application results. As of the beginning of this year, Neolix unmanned vehicles have been commercially deployed in multiple fields, including logistics, retail, and educational innovation.

Visiting the Beijing High-Level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Area Innovation Display Center, the tour members witnessed autonomous driving vehicles transition from science fiction scenes to reality.

Since September 2020, Beijing has built the world's first cloud-controlled high-level autonomous driving demonstration area in Beijing E-Town.

A media producer from Poland living in Beijing, said after riding an intelligent connected bus, "Very comfortable, not afraid at all." She also expressed her intention to bring more international students to the area and experience more autonomous driving vehicles.

"It was fascinating!" Violetta Sazhina from Russia said with a smile. "I've never seen so many autonomous driving technology products. It feels like China is living in another century." Yang Xiu, a student from Morocco who is now studying at Beijing Second Foreign Language University, also expressed his amazement.  "This is the first time I've seen so much cutting-edge technology!"
