With waterfront trails, romantic lotus fields and scenic views along the coast, citizens can enjoy themselves in this natural oxygen bar.

The newly added trail is located on the south side of Majuqiao Wetland Park (Phase 2). It has a total length of about 1,600 meters.

"There was no road here originally. It was filled in later using the corner of the land. Before the renovation, it was just a dirt road that couldn't be walked on during rainy and snowy weather," according to the staff of Majuqiao town forest farm.

The main material of the trail is green waste. Staff crushed branches of trees and used their shavings for filling. Meanwhile, the sponge engineering was incorporated, and a series of materials such as auxiliary road edge stones, permeable bricks, and lawn bricks were used for construction.

The trail is a project of the 2022 demonstration collective forest farm.

In the initial design, it combined with the existing resources of the forest farm, reused green waste, and provided nearby residents and visitors with a fitness trail that integrates viewing, walking, and resting.

Walking along the waterfront, the landscaping design of the slow-walking trail is delicate. The entrances and exits are adorned with boxwoods and roses to form hedges.

On both sides of the path, plants such as hostas, bearded iris, large-flowered daylilies, and sunflowers have been planted, adding color to the surrounding environment.

The trail is rich in natural resources. There are lotus viewing platforms extending on both sides, and wooden walkways extend deep into the lotus fields, creating a peaceful atmosphere with clear water streams and green surroundings. They allow visitors to view the lotus fields up close and the sea of flowers from afar.

Three pavilions are also set up at three points along the trail for visitors to rest.
