"Throughout the production system and quality management, we have integrated the intelligent manufacturing concept of 'digitalization, flexibility, efficiency, and sustainability' and steadily advanced the progress of various new products. Based on market demand and other factors, we have flexibly scheduled production and anchored production and management goals to further release production capacity and promote transformation and upgrading," said the head of Beijing Benz.

On receiving the order, Beijing Benz's advanced production control system automatically sorts and matches all the components of different car models, and realizes the association, tracking, and storage of information such as quality, model, and location. 

Meanwhile, relying on digital information management systems and industrial IoT platforms, data from every production process and key equipment are uploaded to the system, which not only enables real-time detection, monitoring, and production traceability but also further improves production efficiency and quality.

"In recent years, Beijing Benz has established an intelligent manufacturing system that combines high digitalization and flexibility. We can flexibly and quickly formulate or adjust production plans according to market conditions while meeting the market demand for fuel or electric vehicles," said the head of Beijing Benz.

While optimizing production capacity layout through digital production, Beijing Benz is also following the market trend to promote transformation and upgrading. 

"We have been steadily advancing and implementing our electrification transformation strategy," the head of Beijing Benz added. 

So far, Beijing Benz has established the highest-yield and most comprehensive manufacturing base in the global Mercedes-Benz passenger car production network. It uses advanced production platforms and facilities, three major vehicle platforms (front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, and electric), an engine and a power battery factory.
