The machines are running at full speed, the production lines are fully operational, and the workers are organized and efficient at Beijing DOLE Food Co.

"Our sales this January have increased by about 29 percent compared to the same period last year. While ensuring quality and continuous innovation, we are confident in achieving a good start to the first quarter," said Wang Liang, head of Beijing DOLE. 

Currently, Beijing DOLE has seven product lines running simultaneously, including the main banana production line and product lines for pineapple, papaya, avocado, nuts, and other products.

In the production workshop of Beijing DOLE, various types of bananas such as ultra-sweet bananas, little prince bananas, gold label bananas, and big bananas are all available. Workers are selecting, packaging, and weighing products according to factory standards. Scientific production and standardized management provide a guarantee for stabilizing sales this year.

The cold storage facilities at 0-2 degrees Celsuis are dedicated to storing apples, pears, and other fruits, while the 6-7 C cold storage facilities are dedicated to pineapples, papayas, and other fruits. 

In the processing and distribution center equipped with advanced equipment, a variety of cold storage facilities maintain the original product characteristics and taste of the fruit, not only providing consumers with high-quality fruits and vegetables but also meeting customers' high standard requirements for transportation.

For fresh-cut products, Beijing DOLE has strict regulations. Before leaving the production site, almost all products are coded. After arriving at the destination, they are labeled with exclusive tags to ensure product quality, freshness, shelf life and taste.

"Whether it is the visit to the company during the pandemic, or the timely provision of epidemic prevention materials and subsidies to solve problems for the enterprise, Beijing E-Town has given us a lot of help and support!" said Wang.

He added that Beijing E-Town's other policies to support enterprises, include providing training and opportunities for employees, sharing employees, and helping enterprises in other districts to provide sales channels for products, and escorting Beijing DOLE's development in the area.
