The 2022 Beijing International Symposium on Micro-Electronics and the IC WORLD Conference kicked off in Beijing E-Town on Dec 28.

With the theme of "gathering momentum to set sail and look like a chip", this conference hosted academic conferences and expositions. 

By tracking the development of the integrated circuit industry, it gathered the strength of the global semiconductor industry and promoted the development of the integrated circuit industry chain.

Jin Wei, vice mayor of Beijing Municipality, said that Beijing will insist on promoting the high-quality development of the integrated circuit industry.

Kong Lei, director of the Administrative Committee of Beijing E-Town, remarked that Beijing E-Town, as the main platform of the "three science cities and one hi-tech area" for Beijing to build an international science and technology innovation center, has always been the core area for the development of Beijing's integrated circuit industry.

This year mark the 9th time that Beijing E-Town has held the Beijing International Symposium on Micro-Electronics, and the 5th time it hosted the IC WORLD Conference. 

The academic conference of the 2022 Beijing Microelectronics International Symposium and the IC WORLD Conference consist of a summit forum and 10 sub-forums. 

Hundreds of experts, scholars and business leaders from top universities, research institutions and integrated circuit companies around the world will focus on the current development and trends of the integrated circuit industry seen in 2022, and conduct professional, technological, and international academic exchanges to provide broader ideas for the development of China's integrated circuit industry.

The exhibition area of the conference is about 3,000 square meters, covering integrated circuit equipment and spare parts, factory affairs, wafer processing materials, integrated circuit production intelligent systems and indirect consumables. 

Nearly 70 institutions were invited to participate in the exhibition.
