After 18 months of construction, the Sky Realm·Industrial Plaza project, Beijing's first skyscraper factory, was completed.

Through "asking for space from the sky", the project expanded the construction area from the original 14,500 square meters to 93,000 square meters, increasing the utilization efficiency of the stock space five-fold.

This modern skyscraper factory will become an innovative carrier for the biomedicine and medical device industries in Beijing E-Town. 

Once put into production, it will serve as a comprehensive park service platform integrating basic research and development, achievement transformation, clinical application, and high-end manufacturing. 

It provides about 70,000 square meters of production space, 6,600 square meters of living facilities and 1,500 square meters of public service supporting space, and is expected to achieve an annual output value of over 800 million yuan ($115.28 million).

Currently, Beijing E-Town has entered a new stage of urban renewal and revitalization of land stock. 

As of 2021, a total of 58 urban renewal projects have been promoted, covering various revitalization methods, such as the transformation and upgrading of old state-owned enterprises, and the upgrading and renovation of existing parks. The total industrial output value per hectare of land has increased from 185 million yuan in 2012 to 250 million yuan in 2021.
