Yang Xiuling meets with Bosch Rexroth CEO via video link
Yang Xiuling, secretary of the Working Committee of Beijing E-Town, held a video conference with Stephen Haack, CEO of Bosch Rexroth, on Oct 26.
"As the hi-tech area among the 'three science cities and one hi-tech area' and the main platform for the construction of an international science and technology innovation center in Beijing, Beijing E-Town is now home to 97 Fortune 500 companies, with a total investment of over $100 billion. It has spared no efforts in supporting overseas-funded companies to invest or start businesses here", according to Yang .
"It's a privilege to discuss the development of the company with the Secretary of the Working Committee of Beijing E-Town through video and to learn about the latest national development policies", Haack remarked.
Bosch Rexroth (Beijing) Hydraulics Co. has developed in Beijing E-Town for 16 years, and has become a leading manufacturing enterprise in the area.
To upgrade its intelligent manufacturing production lines, this year, Bosch Rexroth started to apply for the lighthouse factory.
With the area and the company preparing the application requirements, an initial plan has been formed.
"We plan to incorporate the relevant policies of the lighthouse factory into the future robot industry system of Beijing E-Town", said Yang.
Learning that Bosch Rexroth has achieved an increase of more than 30 percent in its output value through independent R&D and innovation, Yang gave the company the thumbs-up.
In recent years, Beijing E-Town has aimed to achieve its carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, promoted the technological transformation of enterprises, achieved low-carbon transformation and upgrading, and launched a special policy to support the hydrogen energy industry.
Yang invited Bosch Rexroth to strengthen its cooperation with Beijing E-Town in terms of energy conservation, emission reductions and hydrogen energy.
