A sign for the "Smart Metro Innovation Center" hangs in the R&D office of Quantutong. According to Lin Luzhou, vice president of the company, Quantutong has become one of the innovation centers of Beijing E-Town by virtue of its comprehensive information services for high-precision space-time systems.

The Metro Beidou positioning system for the Capital Airport Line is the first exploration of the achievements transformation.

Quantutong has overcome the worldwide problem that satellite signals are difficult to receive and use in non-exposed spaces, such as underground, underwater, and inside buildings, and have provided a solution for the subway Beidou positioning system.

Up to now, Beijing E-Town has 398 accredited R&D institutions, including 25 national R&D institutions and 373 municipal R&D institutions.

In addition, there are 11 offshore innovation centers in Beijing E-Town, creating a world-class high-end industrial cooperation ecosystem. For instance, utilizing the Cuban Molecular Immunology Center, Biotech Pharmaceutical Co has established a comprehensive institution integrating scientific research, development, production and sales.

With the help of the offshore innovation center, Quantutong carried out research on topics such as positioning and communication integration technology and intelligent algorithms in Belgium; obtained international expert resources in tackling key problems, and got support from government departments, such as the European Navigation Agency, research institutes and universities.

Through the preparation of the PNT International Academic (Europe) Forum on Non-Exposure Spaces and the publication of the English/French academic journal Non-Exposure Space, a Sino-European scientific and technological cooperation platform has been established.

WeMed Medical Equipment Co. also completed the global product and sales layout through the acquisition of Eurocolumbus in Italy, and has achieved technology sharing in the fields of software 3D reconstruction algorithms, the key technologies of mobile C-arm machinery, and non-contact collision detection.
