The innovative measures for business reform are being expanded from Beijing E-Town to the whole city and even the whole country.

The reform of "One integrated License" has covered 50 scenarios in 20 industries, more than 300 items are processed in notification-commitment system, fault-tolerance mechanism has covered 53 types of application materials and 85 service scenarios, such as restaurants, supermarkets, and more. 

In 2019, Beijing E-Town completed the reform of administrative institutions, reducing more than 60 percent of institutions  and various administrative institutions to 23 percent. 

Since then, Beijing E-Town has become the first national economic and technological development zone in China that integrates all front-end approval and back-end law enforcement functions at the same time.

The coverage of grassroots institutions in Beijing E-Town makes it more convenient to handle businesses. 

"We innovated the working mechanism, formed district-level business services, established 11 E-Town enterprise service ports, and created the first three-level enterprise service system”, said a person in charge of related affairs in Beijing E-Town.

Besides, the International Talent Service Office in Beijing E-Town has created the city's first pilot program for the joint application of work permit and residence permit for foreign high-level personnel (category A) and foreign professionals (category B) at the same time.
