Beijing E-Town was approved as a national-level intellectual property demonstration park. What's the secret behind this? Check the following figures to find out.

Adopting the cultivation model of "leading enterprises plus service organizations," Beijing E-Town has achieved initial success in creating high-value and characteristic patent cultivation. 

Currently, six high-value patent cultivation centers have been built, including JD, BOE Optoelectronics, and Beijing Sunho Pharmaceutical Co.

As the 2022 list of Beijing Intellectual Property Pilot Demonstration Institutions was released, Beijing E-Town was seen to have added 69 companies to the list. 

Up to now, the area has seven national IP demonstration enterprises and 15 national IP advantageous enterprises, 100 Beijing IP demonstration enterprises and 231 Beijing IP pilot enterprises.

The Beijing E-Town Subcenter of the Beijing Intellectual Property Protection Center was established last April, providing comprehensive services, such as patent pre-examination support, rapid rights protection, trademark business acceptance, IP protection collaboration, and IP operation for enterprises in the area, and opened up the entire chain of IP creation, utilization, protection, management and services.

Up to now, Beijing E-Town has provided 1,845 patent pre-examination and consulting services, and completed 486 cases of patent pre-examination support services. 

In addition, the area has also provided over 210 trademark infringement judgment consultations and quick rights protection services, set up a trademark business acceptance window in Beijing E-Town, and has accepted 1,784 trademark registrations, changes and transfers.

Since 2012, Beijing E-Town has won two Chinese Patent Gold Awards, two Silver Awards, 60 Excellence Awards, and two Silver Awards for Appearance Design. 

By the end of 2021, enterprises in Beijing E-Town had 11,480 valid invention patents, and the number of valid invention patents per 10,000 people reached 3.6 times that of the entire of Beijing.
