At the 2022 World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference, the exhibition area of the Beijing High-level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone attracted wide attention.

A large three-dimensional screen leads visitors to take a Robotaxi in Beijing E-Town from a first-person perspective. The Robotaxi is waiting next to a bus stop on Rongjing East Street for the arrival of its passengers; on the roadside, an unmanned retail vehicle is selling drinks, and in the distance, self-driving trucks are driving on the Beijing-Taipei Expressway.

In this exhibition, the demonstration zone moved its stage 1.0 and 2.0 achievements in Beijing E-Town to the exhibition site, creating a miniature version of Beijing E-Town.

The various autonomous driving application scenarios that settled in it are displayed one by one. Pony.ai's Robotaxi, QCraft's Robobus, Trunk.tech's self-driving trucks, Neolix's unmanned sales vehicles, or JD Group's unmanned delivery vehicles all amazed audiences who came to visit and experience them.

In this exhibition, the demonstration area not only displays applications and the coordinated development of eight scenarios, including autonomous driving passenger vehicles, unmanned distribution, and unmanned retail, but also shows the overall planning of vehicles, roads, and clouds, as well as the breakthroughs in core technologies of the industrial chain, such as the roadside unit operating system.

Many products of enterprises in Beijing E-Town also feature at the 2022 World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference, such as the high-end intelligent driving car that supports urban roads, brought by BAIC Arcfox - the new HI version of the Alpha S car, the high-speed pilot system H-INP passenger car, and the unmanned security patrol car brought by iDriverPlus.
