2022 WNEVC opens plenary session in Beijing E-Town

Open-up & Cooperation for a Smart Ecosystem, the plenary session of the 2022 World New Energy Vehicle Congress (WNEVC), raised its curtain in the Beijing E-town International Convention and Exhibition Center on Aug 28. 

Relevant government departments, international organizations, industry institutions, vehicle and parts companies, technology companies and representatives from universities and research institutions gathered to discuss how to improve the network security management system of new energy vehicles, and promote the integration of new energy vehicles and information communication.

Li Guoping, safety director of the Ministry of Transport, Gerd Müller, director general of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, gave speeches at the meeting.

Zhao Fuquan, co-chairman of the World New Energy Vehicle Conference Science and Technology Committee, released the 2022 World New Energy Vehicle Conference Consensus, and Li Keqiang, chief scientist of the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Center, delivered a keynote report.

In the themed report of the forum, Li Keqiang systematically explained some new information security issues faced by China's automobile industry, and put forward the technical system and development path of intelligent networked vehicle information security management and application services supported by Chinese solutions.

In the keynote speech session of the forum, Ding Lei, founder and CEO of Human Express Auto, Hou Yang, senior vice president of Microsoft, and Li Zhenyu, senior vice president of Baidu Group, shared their views and communicated on the technological innovation breakthroughs and explorations of intelligent networked vehicles.
