The 2022 World Robot Conference held the closing ceremony on Aug 21 and released latest developments in the industry.

The 2022 World Robot Conference has built a high-end, international and professional achievement platform, with an on-site turnover of 7.2 billion yuan ($1.05 billion). 

The 2022 China Robot Industry Development Report, 10 hot fields of robotics, 10 application products of robots and other achievements were also released at the meeting. 

The number of visitors coming to the expo reached 50,000, and the audience of live broadcasts of forums, expositions and competitions amounted to 24 million.

Liang Liang, deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, remarked that this convention has set two world records, the collective tumbling of 130 robots and the latest speed of brain-controlled typing.

More than 130 companies brought over 500 exhibits to the expo. The conference also realized the remote connection of robots through the ultra high-speed wireless communication system for the first time.

Since 2015, the World Robot Conference has been successfully held for seven times. 

The conference has established a library of more than 1,000 top robot companies in the world, and has attracted more than 3,000 products from over 800 companies from 17 countries. 

More than 1,600 experts from 27 countries participated in the exhibition, and shared cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements.
