Over the past 30 years, Beijing E-Town has attracted more than 90 companies from four leading industries, including new-generation information technology, new energy and intelligent connected vehicles, biomedicine and big health, and robotics and intelligent manufacturing.

These 90 companies, which are among the world's top 500 enterprises, have invested in 140 projects, with a total investment of more than $100 billion.

In 2021, the output value of the new generation of information technology industry increased by more than 20 percent year-on-year.

As the location of the permanent venue of the World Robot Conference, since undertaking the event in 2016, new technology and products in key fields have sprung up in Beijing E-Town, forming a new high-end equipment industry development pattern led by the robotics industry, intelligent equipment and the aviation industry.

As of now, more than 60 smart factories, such as Xiaomi, BOE and ABB, have settled in Beijing E-Town. The settlement of these factories has promoted the implementation of smart solutions, including JD's smart rail transit and the smart mines of Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited, and has provided more broad application scenarios for logistics and service robots.
