Baidu Map Apollo autonomous driving navigation was first launched in Beijing E-Town on Aug 12. 

Through intelligent functions such as urban lane navigation, parking navigation, and green light smooth navigation, it provides residents with an accurate and efficient driving experience.

"When driving on the road of Beijing E-Town, you can often reach your destination with greens light all the way. I feel very lucky." said Zhang Mengmeng, a resident of Beijing E-Town.

But Zhang Mengmeng's case is not an exception. It's the result of the construction of the high-level autonomous driving demonstration area and the standard transformation of standard intersections in Beijing E-Town.

With the construction of 329 intelligent and networked standard intersections within 60 square kilometers of Beijing E-Town, the traffic light service has been used for over 10 million times, providing more than 40,000 services per day, with a crossing time 36.8 percent shorter than other areas in Beijing. 

The autonomous driving navigation released this time is another upgrade based on Apollo's autonomous driving and vehicle-road coordination technology.
