The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei roadshow for the 2022 Torch Scientific and Technological Achievements took place online on Aug 4.

The event took into account the specific industrial needs of Beijing E-Town, and promoted six technology projects to relevant industrial investment institutions and potential partners to boost cooperation.

According to statistics, as of June 30, Beijing E-Town has carried out 26 policy presentations and achievements connection activities for enterprises in the area. More than 80 roadshows and connection projects have attracted more than 2,000 participants from various innovative entities. 

Based on years of exploration in industry-university-research cooperation, Beijing E-Town has established a collaborative innovation mechanism of "enterprises issue questions and institutes answer questions". 

It has now explored 39 specific technical needs in the fields of biotechnology and big health, robotics and intelligent manufacturing, sorted out more than 30 mature technologies from potential suppliers of achievements, and helped them establish connections. 

This year, the area plans to undertake the following:  connect with more than 20 scientific research institutes of universities in Beijing, and more than 100 outstanding enterprises in the area;  hold more than 48 connection activities to reserve more than 500 scientific research projects from colleges and universities; collect over 500 corporate technology needs, no less than 500 university-enterprise technological demand cooperation projects; and promote no less than 50 cooperation achievements.
