Recently, the spread of monkeypox has aroused people's vigilance. How to improve the detection ability and fortify the on-site quarantine at the port? Two products independently developed by enterprises in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) can realize instant inspection, which will facilitate rapid customs clearance at the port.

The two products are the monkeypox nucleic acid detection kit and the real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR all-in-one machine, which is small enough to be held by hand. 

During the operation, the sampling swab is directly placed in the sample adding hole of the microfluidic chip of the kit, and then the chip is placed in the hand-held all-in-one machine, and the sample detection can be completed with one button within one hour.

Previously, the company, together with the China Customs Science and Technology Research Center, the General Administration of Customs (Beijing) International Travel Health Care Center and other institutions, undertook the "Science and Technology Winter Olympics" special project, and developed a total of 25 kinds of reagents. One of them is the monkeypox nucleic acid detection kit for in vitro detection of monkeypox DNA in swab samples of suspected cases.
