Demonstration zone releases first standard system of high-level autonomous driving
The Beijing High-level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone released its first standard system and a series of standards for vehicle-road coordination infrastructure and intelligent vehicle autonomous driving function testing on April 28.
The demonstration zone has built the first complete vehicle-road integrated high-level autonomous driving standard system.
The standard system is divided into the six parts of intelligent networked vehicle technology, vehicle-road coordination infrastructure, a cloud control basic platform, a dedicated communication network, a basic map, and safety management.
A total of 71 related standards for the demonstration zone have also been developed, as have 10 series of standard vehicle-road coordination infrastructures.
The zone completed testing standards for passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, passenger minibuses, and unmanned autonomous vehicles.
