Water surrounds, greenways meander
In recent years, the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) has fostered green development, built urban greenways, connected communities with parks, and improved residents' quality of life.

"I work in the BDA, and usually ride to work. The greenway along the road actually makes the ride to and from the workspace kind of enjoyable. Now, my family has fallen in love with cycling. We ride through the greenways in the park, crossed the hills, passed the wetlands, and drove to the sea of flowers," said a resident in Beijing E-Town.

In Beijing E-Town Riverside Park, the cycling path and the walking path are parallel, forming a greenway system, where citizens can jog, walk, cycle, and ride with children.

There are also roadside "black technology" benches, which are equipped with a solar charging system that can wirelessly charge mobile phones.

Tired of walking or riding? You can sit at the solar rest pavilions on both sides of the greenway, which not only provide rest places, but are also equipped with solar panels to generate electricity.
