The Beijing E-Town Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Center recently held an online briefing regarding the HICOOL2022 Global Entrepreneurs Summit and Entrepreneurship Competition.

The conference invited a staff member from HICOOL to explain the competition’s rules. More than 70 enterprises in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) participated in the seminar online.

The HICOOL 2022 Global Entrepreneurship Competition consists of an overseas group and a local group. 

The contest will focus on seven tracks, including artificial intelligence/virtual reality/financial technology, new generation information technology, high-end equipment, medicine and health, new energy/new materials/energy saving and environmental protection, cultural creativity, and a new track called agricultural technology/food technology.

One hundred and forty projects will be chosen to share an award of 100 million yuan ($15.72 million).

HICOOL, as a comprehensive service platform for global entrepreneurship, is committed to creating a multi-level, multi-dimensional and diversified international entrepreneurship model, looking for high-quality projects around the world, attracting and serving the world's outstanding entrepreneurs, leading companies and investment institutions, and building a platform for communication and cooperation for enterprises. 

The competition invites top investors, well-known mentors, and leading entrepreneurs to provide all-around services in areas such as talent settlement, children's education, medical security, talent housing, and entry-exit policy guarantees for participating projects. 

Innovation and entrepreneurship projects that settle in the BDA can also enjoy the regional overlay policy at the same time.

"It is hoped that through this briefing, more companies and talents can understand the relevant policies and entry procedures of the HICOOL competition, promote cross-field exchanges of talents, and further propel the development of regional innovation and entrepreneurship," a representative from the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center said. 

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center will then connect resources for award-winning projects in the BDA and continue to empower entrepreneurs.
