The installation of solar IoT street lamps began along the 2.4-kilometer-long Sanhaizi East section of Xingyi Road on Mar 26.

The project is expected to be completed before May 1. It will make driving on this road much safer at night.

The solar IoT street lamps can not only automatically synchronize with sunrise and sunsetand dynamically adjust their activation time, but also manage their power differently during different periods and be turned on during different specific periods.

When a street lamp fails, an intelligent operation and maintenance management system will diagnose the cause of the failure, confirm the faulty lamp, generate a maintenance plan, and push information to managers and maintenance personnel. 

After receiving a timely and accurate dispatch order, maintenance personnel can then find and repair the lamp.

The lamps were designed by Beijing Yizhuang Digital Infrastructure Development Co. and Beijing Ling Yang Wei Ye Technology Co. They represent a new model of infrastructure construction and clean energy utilization.
