The Yanqing Winter Paralympic Awards Plaza, known as the "Snow Crystal Palace", recently had its first awards day.

Award ceremonies for six projects were held that day, and medals were awarded to 24 ice and snow athletes from 12 countries.

To ensure the smooth progress of the award ceremony, a power security team formed by the State Grid Beijing Yizhuang Power Supply Company prepared for the event one week in advance.

It is understood that the 41 members of the "Snow Crystal Palace" power security team are all from the State Grid Beijing Yizhuang Power Supply Company, and half of them participated in the guarantee of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. 

"Different from the guarantee conditions more than 10 years ago, today's 'smart brain' can monitor power equipment 24 hours a day, and alert you when an abnormality is detected," said Wang Shuo, a team member.

Different from the power guarantee of the Beijing Awards Plaza, the tasks for the Yanqing Winter Paralympic Awards Plaza were more concentrated and intensive, the support equipment more complex and scattered, and barrier-free service requirements are more refined and extensive. 

In the design of the power supply scheme, the power security team of the State Grid Beijing Awards Plaza not only made maximum use of the permanent power facilities of the venue, but also fully considered the safety and convenience of the athletes. 

The route of the cable was carefully planned, avoiding the main passage of the venue, to facilitate athletes.
