The Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA)'s eighth Boda Contribution Special Award application period has officially started and will end on March 30.

There are three categories of awards, namely the Boda Special Contribution Award, Boda Outstanding Contribution Award and Boda Innovation Contribution Award. The winning team or individual will receive a one-time award of up to 1 million yuan ($158,200). The application instructions can be found below.

Declaration time

From Feb 28, 2022 to Mar 30, 2022, the applicant shall enter the policy redemption comprehensive service platform through the policy redemption module on the official website of the BDA, or use the 360 browser's "speed mode" to log in to the website (zcdx.kfqgw.beijing.gov.cn) and apply after registering. If the application is not submitted within the specified time, it will be regarded as an automatic waiver.

Declaration conditions

1. Basic conditions for application

The applicant should register, pay taxes, report data and conform to the development direction of the regional industry in the BDA

2. Basic requirements for applicants

The applicant or the application team should, in principle, have worked in the BDA for three years and paid social security in the area.

Applicants or application teams should abide by national laws and regulations, have professional ethics, have no record of improper behavior, and meet one of the following conditions:

①Business management. A main person in charge or the main management team of the enterprise that has made outstanding contributions to promoting the development of the regional economy.

②Investment. A principal or investment team of an enterprise that has made outstanding contributions to the implementation of major projects in the area.

③Science and technology research. A senior technical expert or technical research and development team that has made outstanding contributions to the BDA's scientific and technological research and development.

④ Entrepreneurship. An entrepreneur or entrepreneurial team that has played an exemplary and leading role in entrepreneurial practice.

⑤ Vocational skills. A technical expert, high-skilled talent or technical team that has made outstanding contributions in promoting major breakthroughs and innovations in key technological processes.

⑥ Public services. A talent or team that has made outstanding achievements in public service fields such as education, health care and culture and achieved high social satisfaction.

Support content and standards

(1) There shall be no more than 10 candidates for the Boda Special Contribution Award, and each winner will receive a one-time reward of 1 million yuan (before tax).

(2) The number of candidates for the Boda Outstanding Contribution Award shall not exceed 30, and each winner shall receive a one-time reward of 500,000 yuan (before tax).

(3) There shall be no more than 50 candidates for the Boda Innovation Contribution Award, and each winner will receive a one-time reward of 300,000 yuan (before tax).

The Broad Contribution Special Reward Fund can be enjoyed together with other special rewards for talents.
