Chipone technologies light up Bird's Nest
At the opening ceremony of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, an LED ultra-high-definition large screen created a visual spectacle. It was one example of how technology from Beijing Chipone North Technology Co., Ltd. created a fabulous vision for the ceremony.

"The display chip is the nerve center that controls the imaging of the display. Only high-performance display chips can achieve high-quality display effects," a representative from Chipone said.
The ICND2153 and ICND2055 chips developed by Chipone are being used to power LED screens in the Ice Cube and other areas.
Chipone joined hands with Leyard, Unilumin, BOE and other screen manufacturers to contribute to the grand ceremony in the Bird's Nest.

The screen in the Bird's Nest is currently the world's largest three-dimensional LED screen with a resolution greater than 8K, which enables it to present realistic image rendering.
The LED display uses 42,208 LED modules to create an immersive experience.
When the screen is activated, an electrical signal is quickly transmitted to the main control chip. The LED display chip automatically adjusts the color saturation to achieve a visual refresh rate of over 3,840 Hz and display more complete detail through a 16-bit color scale display.

Chipone was established in September 2008 after the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

With the support of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area, after less than 14 years of development, Chipone has developed into a leader in LED display chips, with a global market share of over 50 percent. Its LED chips were also used at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.
