Food safety is the priority. The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics are approaching and food safety cannot be neglected.

During the Winter Olympics test competition, the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) formulated the Test Competition Protection Plan, Epidemic Prevention and Control Plan and Emergency Response Plan.

The BDA Bureau of Commerce and Finance has set up a working group of eight people that is responsible for organization and coordination, emergency response, supervision and inspection, and epidemic prevention and control, as well as Coca-Cola product sampling and inspection, product supply and other guarantee work.

"During the Winter Olympics test competition, they provided 18 vehicles full of goods. Furthermore, 10 types of document systems, including special guarantee programs, plans for epidemic prevention and control, and personnel protection, have been implemented to ensure the smooth operation of the test competition. Currently, we are preparing for the official competition,” said Liu Ying, quality engineer of COFCO Coca-Cola Beverage (Beijing) Co., Ltd. 

Currently, the BDA has entered the "main body + guarantee" mode, that is, during the main competition, four food supply enterprises and three special equipment enterprises will operate in the area as key service guarantee bodies, radiating relevant safety guarantees within 200 meters around them. 

These companies will also focus on food production and operation, and carry out various supervision and inspection work.
