According to the 2022 annual work meeting of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA), since 2021, the BDA has added 121 new technologies and 208 new products.

In terms of biology, medicine and medical devices, DNJY (name of the company) has two products that have obtained the new technology and new product (service) certificate, namely automatic capillary electrophoresis instrument and HER2 gene amplification detection kit. 

"In the early years, domestic companies developing diagnostic reagents and equipment did not understand each other's needs. In order to solve this problem, we started two simultaneous approaches," remarked the leader of the company.

Not only have many new technologies and new products been born in the four leading industries, but also in emerging industries such as aerospace, energy conservation and environmental protection, and new materials, enterprises in the BDA have fascinating performance. 

Four new products such as "Ceres" solid launch vehicle and "Lightyear" series solid rocket engine independently developed by XHDL (enterprise name) have surprised the industry. 

New technology products helped water governance, and STGF snow field thermal insulation sandwich composite panels enabled engineering construction.

Multi-parameter water quality tester and portable turbidity tester of LHYX helped water treatment.

The new scientific innovation guideline of the BDA pointed out that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" (2021-25) period, the growth rate of R&D investment in large and medium-sized key enterprises in the BDA will remain above 10 percent, and 100 new technologies and new products will be formed every year. 

The recently-held 2022 annual work meeting also proposed that in 2021, large and medium-sized enterprises in BDA will invest 28 billion yuan ($4.39 billion) in research and development, a year-on-year increase of 22 percent, and the number of new technologies and that new products far exceeded expectations.
