Represented by commercial rockets, the BDA has gathered 180 satellite network-related enterprises, basically covering four major fields including satellite launch, satellite development, satellite application and operation, and ground equipment manufacturing.

Among the "Top 30 Commercial Aerospace Industries in China" released in 2021, the BDA occupies nine seats.

The R&D and industrialization projects of key aerospace products will be given financial support, up to a maximum of 50 million yuan ($7.85 million).

For newly introduced innovation centers and key laboratories, engineering research centers, etc., financial support will be provided according to different levels.

In addition, the BDA also spends 1 billion yuan every year to support talent innovation and entrepreneurship.

Once the alliance was established, it received the support of the vast number of satellite and rocket network industry enterprises and experts.

The first batch of 41 upstream and downstream companies of the satellite and rocket network industry chain as well as 50 industry experts joined the alliance.

The alliance includes not only rocket, satellite and other research and development enterprises, but also satellite application and operation, ground equipment manufacturing, key parts production supporting enterprises, and financial institutions such as insurance and banks.

On the same day, three commercial aerospace companies from the BDA appeared with new technologies and new achievements.

Galactic Energy shared the reasons for the successful continuous launch of Ceres-1 from the aspects of planning, team and technology. Rongwei Tech launched satellite laser communication and satellite Internet innovative products. Land Space revealed its new plan: the R&D center will be upgraded on the existing basis to build a large and medium-sized liquid oxygen methane launch vehicle R&D center.

According to experts, combined with the development trend of the industry and the industrial foundation of the BDA, by 2025, the area is expected to form a world-class launch vehicle R&D and innovation center and also a domestic first-class satellite and rocket network industry cluster worth over 10 billion yuan.
