Intentional credit line of 100 billion yuan over next five years
Recently, the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) reached a strategic cooperation agreement with the Beijing Branch of the Bank of China to focus on the industrial financial positioning during the "14th Five-Year Plan" (2021-25) period.
Over the next five years, the Beijing Branch of the Bank of China plans to provide 250 billion yuan ($39.28 billion) of intentional credit lines for eligible enterprises and key projects in the BDA and Beijing E-Town.
The credit lines will play a role in the development of the four leading industries in the BDA of the "Two Zones".
In terms of supporting the four leading industries and emerging industries in the BDA, the Beijing Branch of the Bank of China will provide comprehensive and diversified financial services for enterprises in the area.
In terms of regional development and construction, the bank will increase financing support for projects in the region, and jointly solve problems within urban renewal and infrastructure construction.
On the topic of supporting the construction of the "Two Zones" in the BDA, it will provide enterprises and individuals with various types of capital and settlement facilitation, as well as international services.
The back will also increase financial support for talents in the BDA.
Since the beginning of this year, the BDA has reached strategic cooperation agreements with the Bank of Beijing Headquarters, the ICBC Beijing Branch, the China Development Bank Beijing Branch, and Bank of China Beijing Branch, further consolidating the BDA’s development in the financial sector, according to the BDA Bureau of Commerce and Finance.
