From infrastructure to demonstration applications, the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) not only accelerates the implementation of digital application, it also focuses on digital industrialization. 

From January to October, the profit of the core industries of the digital economy increased by 1.4 times year-on-year.

Since the launch of "5G E-Town" in 2019, the BDA has taken the lead in Beijing to achieve full coverage of 5G networks. 

Today, 1374 5G base stations have been built and opened in 60 square kilometers, and the base station density has reached 22.9 per square kilometer, which is far higher over the average level of the city.

Currently, the rate of fiber access and application in the BDA has reached 99 percent in residential areas and over 90 percent in industrial areas. Network speed has reached 500 Mbit/s.

The 12.1 kilometers of urban roads in the BDA and the 10-km two-way expressway of Beijing-Taiwan Expressway have completed the deployment of various intelligent hardware infrastructures.

One autonomous parking lot has been transformed, and three unmanned autonomous parking models have successfully adapted. 

About 17 types of road traffic incidents have been carried out in an orderly manner, and the first networked cloud control system in China that can systematically serve externally has been established.

Meanwhile, the BDA has continued to optimize and expand the organic unity of the digital economy and cultural industries.

Today, the zone has built and formed China (Beijing) High-tech Audiovisual Industrial Park, Beijing New Technology Application Center for Online Games, Beijing Smart E-sports Event Center, and Beijing Four major industrial centers in the science and cultural integration industry, including the Smart Media Innovation Center

In the first three quarters of this year, the revenue of the core industries of the digital economy in the BDA increased by 21.1 percent year-on-year, and profits increased by 1.4 times year-on-year.

Not only that, the BDA has collected 25 artificial intelligence application scenarios, 23 new technology and new product solutions for enterprises in the region, and supported enterprises to build cloud AI pathogenic microorganism data analysis system and AI-based big data security governance system, intelligent digital cloud work service platform, unmanned vehicle multi-scenario operation services and other applications.

These platforms cover 10 key areas, including AI + medical health, AI + smart logistics, AI + data security, AI + remote office, AI + security protection, AI + automatic driving, AI + unmanned economy , AI + smart factory, AI + smart community and AI + high-definition video.
