The Digital Service Area, which debuted at this year's China International Fair for Trade in Services, demonstrated how digital technology changes people's everyday lives and imagines a better future built on the foundation of a digital economy.

The 11,000-square-meter exhibition area, which ran along with the fair from Sept 3 to 7, attracted industry pacesetters in the 5G, big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cloud computing industries to showcase their latest technologies.

Carrying the theme "Towards Digital Future and Service Driven Development," this year's CIFTIS had enterprises from different sectors, including Huawei, Epson, NEC, Amazon, Alibaba, JD, Baidu, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, State Grid, COSCO, BOE and Meituan, in attendance.

Multiple interactive activities at different booths also showcased industrial innovation and the way digital technology impacts everyday activities.
