The Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) has stepped up the construction of pilot bases for the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements in Zhongguancun this year.

At the beginning of April, BDA listed the first six pilot base acceleration zones. The total area of the acceleration zones reaches 82,000 square meters and the total number of operating team members is 66, with 30 service platforms.

Recently, the six pilot bases announced their individualized policies.

BDA's National Xinchuang Park will innovate national information technology.

It will provide rent subsidies to enterprises, and offer public rental housing for high-level and corporate talents. Financial support will be given to major frontier original technology industrialization projects in accordance with a certain investment ratio. The park also set up a Xinchuang Industry Fund of 10 billion yuan ($1.54 billion).

Yicheng International Center welcomes new generation information technology and the technology service industry.

It will give rental discounts to key projects, listed companies and high-tech enterprises and provide patent consulting services and intellectual property protection services for settled innovation entities.

Full-process services will be offered for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements for settled enterprises, in reliance on the center's signing of strategic cooperation agreements with universities, scientific research institutes, and alliance associations such as the Strategic Consulting Center of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Tongji University, and the China Inventors Association.

Other cooperation entities include the Deep Space Exploration Joint Research Center of the Ministry of Education, the Beijing Beihang Advanced Industrial Technology Research Institute, and the National Economic Mobilization Education and Training Center of the Beijing Institute of Technology.

Dazu Plaza will advance high-end service industries

The net rent is 1 yuan per square meter every day and its property fee is 1 yuan per square meter every day.

Settled enterprises have priority to enjoy all services of the trade business promotion platform and the operation management innovation and improvement platform.

Chaolin Plaza is oriented to the new generation of information technology, robotics and intelligent manufacturing, biomedicine and health, as well as high-end and new energy vehicles.

It will help enterprises to connect with multiple funding channels, provide full-process industrial and commercial registration services, and give rent and decoration subsidies for 0.3 yuan per square meter every day.

BDA·Beijing University of Technology Software Park is set up for work in the new generation of information technology, biotechnology, massive health and new materials.

For biomedicine and smart manufacturing companies entering the park for the first time, it will offer a rent-free period of 3 to 6 months. It will also assist companies to declare a rent subsidy of 1.5 yuan per square meter every day.

There are more than 300,000 square meters of space in the park available for use and companies in the park will be given priority to start operation in BDA's parks.

The institutions that can be connected with include: the world's number one Chicago 1871 technology incubator, the top three MATTER biomedical incubators in the United States, the North American COSI science and education experience center, and the Columbus smart city development organization headquartered in Columbus.

Hongkun International Biopharmaceutical Industrial Park is oriented towards pharmaceutical R&D and production, medical equipment and so forth.

For biomedical companies entering for the first time, a rent-free period of six months is provided.

It will also handle business registration and project environmental assessment procedures for customers free of charge, apply for various policy subsidies for customers and help enterprises with financial leasing, banking and other financial institution services.
