On the flower bed, there are various begonias and trailing petunias; on the plaza in front of Boda Park, the words "May 1" are spelled out in red maidenhair.

"To create a festive atmosphere for the 'May 1' holiday, we started soil preparation and planting flowers in April, and completed nearly 26,000 square meters of landscape design and floral arrangements before the festival," noted an official of the Urban Operation Bureau in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA).

The floral arrangement adopts a combination of perennial flowers and seasonal flowers, and new flower varieties are also introduced, such as lupins, South African marigolds, and large-flowered delphinium.

Arranging of 2.39 million flowers has now come to a close.
