Mr. Chang, working in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA), went to the Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Area (TEDA) on April 21 to discuss cooperation with Civil Engineering Co., Ltd. of the China Construction Sixth Engineering Bureau. 

To meet his business needs, he was able to make remote queries regarding corporate files and conduct on-site printing of corporate registration files through the “Inter-provincial Office" window of the TEDA Government Affairs Service Center.

This was the first case of inter-provincial government services since the BDA and the TEDA signed an authorization agreement for their promotion on March 6.

Mr. Chang worked for Beijing Zhenglin Electric Power Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., an enterprise in the BDA. 

He encountered a problem when negotiating a business deal. 

Due to the large amount of money involved in the project, the other side pointed out that they hoped to view the company's articles of association formally filed by Zhenglin Electric Power in the approval department.

It occurred to Mr. Chang that he had read a publicity report on the "inter-provincial government services" between the BDA and the TEDA.

After consulting, Mr. Chang took only a copy of the company's business license and his ID card, enough for him to print out the company's registration files at the "Inter-provincial Office" window of the TEDA Government Affairs Service Center.

"This sort of services facilitates our cooperation. Returning to Beijing to go through the formalities may miss the best time for business negotiation. I feel grateful for the efforts made by the government service departments of the two places," said Mr. Chang excitedly.

The scope of the inter-provincial government services will continue to be expanded in the BDA and the TEDA.
