A pilot base acceleration zone is a group of innovation spaces that are selected from the institutions with a certain amount of space and industrialization acceleration service capabilities around leading industries and strategic emerging industries in the BDA.

They will undertake scientific and technological achievements acceleration projects and key core technology research items.

In addition to setting up pilot base acceleration zones, the BDA has also included the 225 square kilometers space of Yizhuang New Town into the pilot base expansion area to undertake comprehensive scientific and technological achievements industrialization projects, and has set up a pilot base platform to serve the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

Through the implementation of the "Innovative Growth Plan" and the "Innovative Partnership Program", a pilot base also provides rent subsidies, loan discounts, talent incentives, investment funds and other support for innovative projects and service organizations included in the plan, and establishes a transformation project reserve database.
