On Jan 2, the mobilization meeting for the first batch of major projects in 2025 was held in Huangshan, covering eight projects with a total investment of 13.1 billion yuan ($1.8 billion). Among them is one project with an investment of over 1 billion yuan.
Regarding industry distribution, there are two manufacturing projects with a total investment of 600 million yuan, ranking 4th in Anhui province. There is also one infrastructure project with an investment of 11.15 billion yuan and five service projects with an investment of 1.35 billion yuan.
Representative projects include the Huangshan Tourism T1 Phase I project with an investment of 11.15 billion yuan, the Huangshan Tongxi Biological 500-metric-ton annual production of HMO products project with a total investment of 300 million yuan, and the Tunxi Shuaisui Ecological Health and Wellness Tourism Resort project with an investment of 500 million yuan.
In 2024, Huangshan had 45 mobilized projects with a total investment of 24.47 billion yuan. All 45 projects have commenced, achieving a 100 percent mobilization rate, ranking first in the province. The investment completion rate is 87.3 percent, ranking 6th in the province. Projects such as the Xin'anjiang River Basin Flood Control Project and Shexian Shenglong Decorative Paper are currently under active construction.
