Since setting up operations in Suzhou New District in 2011, Mando-Hella Electronics Suzhou Co has been committed to the research and development of automotive chassis electronics and sensor technology and products.
With strong development momentum, the company saw its sales revenue reach around 980 million yuan ($153.6 million) in 2020, and it is expected to reach 1.2 billion yuan in 2021.
The company's base currently covers an area of 20,000 square meters and it is planning to increase investment in a third-phase plant, as it has seen its number of new customers and projects increasing in recent years.
Song Changbao, deputy head of SND, and Yoon Pal-joo, CEO of Mando-Hella Electronics Co in South Korea, held a video call on Nov 18 to discuss improving the business environment, promoting industrial transformation, and strengthening cooperation between China and South Korea.
Song said the new investment of Mando-Hella was a reflection of the company's confidence in expanding its business in SND. He said the district would concentrate on accelerating industrial transformation, especially digital and intelligent-oriented transformation. He expressed hope that SND's cooperation with South Korean enterprises in the fields of high-end manufacturing, energy saving, digital economy, and modern services would be strengthened and channels between the two countries would become smoother.
